Having kids old enough to cook is SO cool! I get to have fresh baked cookies without going to the bother to make them myself! Not that I don't like making cookies, I do, but sometimes I'm otherwise occupied. So all I have to do is say "You can make cookies if you want to, and I get to reap the rewards!
Of course, they do always leave me the dishes. At least they pile them neatly in the sink. I guess it's a fair trade, cookies for dishes.
